🔥Feel like giving up? Ask yourself this --->🔥
If you've felt lost or like giving up, these questions can help. They may change the trajectory of your next steps.
For many years, I have been making a case for bringing coaching into social work. I've been met with both criticism and interest. See a pic below of one of my favorite fan letters from a Dean of social work
Warm and fuzzy, right?
I have several letters like that but I chose to never believe them. I never gave up! Probably because I'm too stubborn. Maybe because I was too stupid to listen my social work elders. Either way, here I am. I stayed committed to my idea and myself. I feel so incredibly proud.
Today is an important day for me. Today is the day that an academic journal has published an article - my article - about coaching and social work. The best part? I have another one coming out again in the summer.
READ THIS ARTICLE. Not just because you're supportive and we love each other :).
Read this article even if you don't care about social work.
Read this article because it will help you take a look in the mirror right now.
Read this article because it will help you figure out how you want to show up in the world during a time when many of us need direction.
Remember a few weeks ago, I shared that there are 3 questions you need to ask yourself right now? These questions are in this article and you must answer them for yourself now. If you've felt lost or like giving up, these questions can help. They may change the trajectory of your next steps.
Reply to this email and let me know how you answer these questions. I would love to hear.
Here's to never giving up,
Big love,
Dr. Liz
